Obsidian Artificial Intelligence Services W.L.L (“Obsidian AI”, “we”, “us”), based in Doha, State of Qatar, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.obsidian-ai.qa, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Briefing / contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and — for companies — the organisation type and company name you provide. AI assistant: the messages you type into the assistant. Technical data: limited data such as your IP address, used only to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and contact you about your request; to operate, provide and improve the Obsidian AI assistant and our services; and to protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. The AI assistant

The Obsidian AI assistant is built and operated by Obsidian AI. The messages you send are processed to generate a response and may be stored and reviewed by Obsidian AI to operate and improve the service. Your messages are NOT used to train AI models. Replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate — please verify important information. Do not enter passwords, financial details, ID/passport numbers, or other confidential or sensitive personal information.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share it with anyone except where it is necessary to operate and deliver our own services, or where we are required to by law — always under appropriate security safeguards.

5. Storage & retention

We keep information only as long as needed. Indicatively: briefing/contact enquiries up to 24 months after our last contact with you; assistant conversation logs up to 12 months; and technical/security logs (e.g. IP) up to 90 days. After these periods the data is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@obsidian-ai.qa and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Governing law

This policy and our handling of personal data are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, including applicable personal-data protection law.
